Photo Art
All the color photographic art has been created without the use of a computer. I use a combination of black and white and color photographs, collage them, paint on them, and re-photograph them for a final image on one negative. I have dealt with themes from the psyche, accessing my unconscious and tapping into universal archetypes. Some of the images are from a series based on “The Kalevala,” the Finnish mythical epic (inspiration for Tolkein’s “Lord of the Rings.”)
